6:45 pm, T + 4 days: Piled all the floor crap into the CD nook, making the lower few feet of discs inaccessible and changing the room vibe from "yard sale" to "rubbish tip". Other miscellaneous remains (hamper, comic-book boxes) into corners. With a small amount of help, hoisted large bookshelf up from the cellar to the second floor and through a narrow gap (the door still doesn't open all the way) that I had previously eyeballed as being wide enough -- correctly, it turns out. With the large shelf in place, everything of any size is more or less where it belongs. Retrieved the shelves, previously separate, from the basement as well.
