Didn't have much to say about this or Modest Mouse's new one (both decent records by bands whose old ones I hadn't absorbed quite enough to feel sure I needed more of the same); wasn't going to write. Then during Buckingham's "Miranda" I literally forgot which of the two albums I was listening to and couldn't convince myself of the singer's identity for several lines. A clue to something I'd failed to recognize in either of them?
